The East Meadow Fire Department Training Committee consists of a group of members who have set the highest of standards in training and safety for the members of our department.
Month after month the instructors of the training committee will work with the Chiefs to plan effective training scenarios, classroom trainings, and department drills, and annual firefighter survival training, and window bailout trainings.
All accrued, these instructors account for nearly 600 years of service just here in the East Meadow Fire Department, with some possessing extensive expertise in everything from specialized medical and rescue, vehicle extrication, rope search and rescue, incident command and much more in their personal emergency service careers.
Together with the Chief’s and Board of Fire Commissioners, these Instructors continue to move our organization forward with the latest firefighting and Emergency Medical Service techniques through intense trainings.
The fruits of their efforts shine through every member call after call.
