Jerry was born in the Bronx on Jan. 14th, 1925.
Jerry served in the US Navy during WWII aboard different ships as well as on the island of Guam as a Medical Corpsman and received numerous medals.
Jerry married Loretta McCloskey in 1946 and they moved to East Meadow in 1950.
Jerry joined the East Meadow Fire Department Engine Company 2 in Dec. 1950 and served as Captain in 1956 and again in 1962 and served as President of Benevolent three times as well as trustee up until his death.
Jerry held numerous jobs but most notably he was a Crash truck firefighter for the US Government at Mitchell Air Force Base and other facilities.
Jerry passed away in 1988.
