On September 6th 2025, the East Meadow Fire Department will host the 2025 6th Battalion Parade and Block Party.
The parade will begin at 5pm as firefighters and EMTs will march from East Meadow Avenue and Stuyvesant Avenue, and head north to Fire Headquarters.
The parade will feature the ten 6th Battalion fire departments, marching bands, plenty of fire trucks, including several antiques.
Immediately following the parade will be a block party in the rear of Fire Headquarters (Next to the Library).
The block party will feature a live band, food, refreshments, and plenty of activities for the children including slides, jumping castle, facepainting, and more.
Join us on this special day. All East Meadow residents are invited to attend.
