On the 24TH anniversary of the attacks on September 11th, the community of East Meadow came together to remember, honor, and pay tribute to the nearly 3,000 lives lost.
2025 6th Battalion Parade and Block Party Coming Sept. 6
Enjoy a firefighters parade, marching bands, and fire trucks new and antique from the entire 6th Battalion.

The parade will begin at 5pm as firefighters and EMTs will march from East Meadow Avenue and Stuyvesant Avenue, and head north to Fire Headquarters.
