The members of the East Meadow Volunteer Fire Department proudly announce our new online means of making your annual donation to our organization.
As you may know, the members of our volunteer department are well trained and discipline to handle your emergency 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We would like to thank all of our residents that have contributed in the past as we once again ask for your support so that we may continue our tireless efforts towards fire prevention, and protection, while providing our community with the best possible emergency response. We are all asked to make donations to worthy organizations and causes and we ask that you place your local volunteer fire department on your list for this tax-deductible donation.
In 2023, the men and women of the East Meadow Fire Department responded to more than 1,500 alarms for fires and medical emergencies, making us one of the busiest fire departments in Nassau County. Our volunteers put aside their personal business and responsibilities several times a day to answer a call for help.
As fellow residents of this great town, we understand the economic struggles families face, so any donation would be greatly appreciated, small or large. Our suggested donation for every resident is $40.00 per household. Please help our family help yours.
In closing, please be aware that there are several other organizations representing the fire service, some from out of New York State, that may solicit your donation. Although some are valid companies that put money into the national fire service. To date, none of this funding has ever gone to the benefit of our organization to protect the residents here in the East Meadow Fire District. For that reason we ask that you take a moment to ensure your donation is going directly to the East Meadow Fire Department as outlined in our campaign with a return address of East Meadow Fire Department Fund Drive PO Box 101 East Meadow Ave East Meadow New York 11554.

New for 2023. The East Meadow Fire department have unveiled its new website at EastMeadowFD.Com. This new site will allow our local businesses to donate directly on line through our secure site.
Any business doing so will be honored on our home page in our advertising box asking our viewers to shop locally with your business add in a continuous rotation for the year. This will not only expose your business to the 150 families in the EMFD, but to the hundreds of local residents who frequent our website.
