Our region is experiencing a Critical Blood Shortage.
On July 26, 2026, we will be hosting a Community Blood Drive from 10am to 4pm.
Location: Fire Headquarters: 197 East Meadow Avenue East Meadow.
Fact is, one donation of your blood can save up to 3 lives.
TO DONATE:
- You must be in good health. Be 17 years or older (16 with a Parent or Guardian’s consent).
- To ensure the ongoing health of our generous donors, we ask all donors age 76 or above to provide a one-time doctors note confirming they are in good health, and eligible to continue donating blood.
- You must be symptom free for at least 72 hours from cold, flu, or other similar illnesses.
Some medical conditions, medications, recent tattoos, piercings, or travel may impact your ability to donate.
